Abstract

”HEALTH EDUCATION IN INCREASING COMPLIANCE WITH MEDICATION IN TB PATIENTS IN THE WORKING AREA OF PUSKESMAS KAWANGU” Xiii + 97 Pages, 3 Images, 19 Attachments Introduction: In 2021 Tuberculosis will become the second most common infectious disease causing deaths globally due to non-compliance with treatment. Poor compliance can result in prolonged disease transmission, drug resistance, relapse and death. Method: This type of research is a case study with descriptive methods. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 2 samples. The instruments used are a questionnaire and SOP for the use of telenursing. Using WOD Analysis Techniques (Interviews, Observations and Documentation). Results: Based on the results obtained from 2 participants conducted by researchers, the number of patients who had high medication compliance was 0 participants (0%) and 2 participants had moderate medication compliance (100%) and the number of patients who had medication compliance Low as 0 Participants (0%). This shows that Health Education using Telenursing is quite significant in increasing compliance with taking medication for TB patients in the Kawangu Community Health Center working area. Conclusion: Based on the research results, it can be concluded that health education through telenursing shows significant results in increasing compliance with taking medication for TB patients in the Kawangu Community Health Center Working Area.
